Minority Fellowships in Environmental Law
This fellowship program is
designed to encourage minority law students to enter the field of environmental
law.

Date Presented: Annual Meeting - January 29, 2021
Award Criteria: Minority law students -- first-year, second-year and
third year (evening only) -- are eligible for the fellowship program if they are
either enrolled in a New York law school or were permanent residents of the
state and enrolled in a law school in the United States. As fellows, they also
participate in activities of the state and city bar associations.
All applicants must be members of NYSBA and the Environmental & Energy Law Section. See the Law Student Application below.
Prize Awarded: $7,500 for use during the summer while working on
environmental cases for government or not-for-profit law offices.
