Mentoring Committee

Mentoring Committee

Description:  The Mentoring Committee’s main focus is to provide mentoring opportunities for its members as a membership benefit.  One such initiative has been the Elder Law Mentoring Program that the Committee has offered each year since 2012.  The Program pairs experienced Elder Law attorneys with those who are new to the practice of Elder Law for a one-on-one mentoring relationship.  In order to qualify for the program, you must be a member of the NYSBA Elder Law and Special Needs Section and attend at least two meetings per year.

Meeting Times
New Link:  Applications for our one-on-one mentoring program usually become available in the fall and we try to have everyone paired up by mid-December, so that is the busiest time of the year for our committee and a time during which we have most of our conference calls and meetings.  We anticipate meeting numerous times this fall as well:
