New
York State Bar Association (NYSBA) President Hank Greenberg received a
coveted Responsible 100 Legal Award from City & State New York at a
reception in New York City on Wednesday, Dec. 18.
The
annual Responsible 100 awards ceremony honors an elite group
of 100 New Yorkers across 10 sectors who are setting new standards of
excellence, dedication and leadership in improving their communities and making
transformative change. Each year, the event acknowledges the outstanding
achievements of socially responsible executives, visionaries and influencers.
“The
privilege of serving as president of the New York State Bar Association is the proudest
achievement of my professional life,” said Greenberg. “Public service is the
highest and noblest calling, and the presidency of NYSBA presents a unique
opportunity to do the public good.
“I am
both thankful and honored by this award, which would not have been possible
without the support of our 72,000 members.”
