Mitchell F. Borger of New Jersey is the new chair of the Corporate Counsel Section.
Borger is Vice President, former Assistant General Counsel for Macy’s Inc, for 23 years. He has counseled clients in the areas of litigation supervision, store-line operational, loss prevention and employment issues. The key employment issues include defense of discrimination claims, reductions in force, alternative dispute resolution – with an emphasis on Macy’s arbitration program, and training.
He is a 20-year member of the Corporate Counsel Section Executive Committee and previously served as chair in 2005.
He holds degrees from SUNY Oneonta and Albany Law School of Union University.
