Karina E. Alomar of
Ridgewood (Law Offices of Alomar and Associates, PC) was elected vice-president
of the 11th District.
She concentrates her practice on divorce and related
areas of matrimonial law, assault and sex abuse, landlord-tenant and
immigration matters, and criminal defense.
She is a member of the Queens County Bar Association,
Queens County Latino Lawyers Association, where she is board member and former
treasurer, and the Queens County Women’s Bar Association. She also engages in
pro-bono activities in her community.
Alomar is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey,
the U.S. District Court Eastern District of New York and the U.S. District
Court District of New Jersey.
She was recognized by the Consulate General of Ecuador
for presenting at the First Annual International Seminar for Social Justice in
2010. Alomar obtained degrees from Florida State University and St. John’s University School of Law.
