Committee on Federal Judiciary

The Federal Judiciary Committee seeks to facilitate interactions with the federal judiciary regarding matters of importance to the bench and bar.  The Committee acts as a resource to the federal judiciary in New York on issues of concern relating to civil litigation in the four federal district courts in New York.  The Committee comments on a variety of questions that affect civil litigation in federal court.

The Committee on Federal Judiciary is co-chaired by Jay G. Safer, Wollmuth Maher & Deutsch, LLP, New York City,  Dawn Kirby, DelBello Donnellan Weingarten Wise & Wiederkehr, LLP, White Plains, NY and Stephen L. Brodsky, Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck, LLP, Woodbury, NY.

Committee Activities

  • Report of federal judicial discipline (in collaboration with Ethics &  Professionalism Committee and Civil Prosecutions Committee)
  • Comment on ABCNY report on Second Circuit CAMP program.
